Technology Job Search - Regulatory

make a list of sites where you can read job offers related to the IT world (though not exclusively) have something like this

Regarding the types of sites would say that

  • Many are just " lists" of job that you evaluate and decide whether to send the CV - or any particular request - to an e-mail. There
  • the job boards billboard type (for - for example - students or graduates of an educational institution)
  • Others are job portals. In them, the candidate must upload your CV (own textual format or any web site the same weapon, based on a survey of data). The high bidder gives the portal a search and it sends the CV through the same web tool (you have to go get the CVs of people who were interested) or by mail.
  • Some others (the less) require registration (without charge CV) to access the email to apply or send application directly to them (we never know that our mail arrives "Nominations")
  • We can not name the web linked to newspapers (Clarin jobs or Zonajobs for example)
  • not escape knowing that there are tools "novel" in Argentina. Not only a network of contacts as LinkedIn (professional network) but many today use Skype - Facebook to publicize job openings and attract candidates to date selection processes
  • ; Many companies have their own web page the list of people looking. His plans for "young professionals." Speaking of enterprises 'final' (seeking only its own employees) or "consultants" (looking for others)
  • There are some of the portals, only "copy-paste" deals on other websites and redirect the candidate that
  • source site

What Kind Of Hair Do Teyana Taylor Wear

portals practice

This is a re-post. For some reason I have not much time to investigate or explain the initial post "Rules of professional practice" of 08/11/2007 is "objective" comments with spam from the time of publication. De so I decided to delete it, republish it here, keeping in the same body the comments that had arisen.

I found an interesting post - And even if 2007 is aligned to some comments that we have shared for 3 years from the original entry - how to remove no more.

all know that the major reference of this industry in the world could not have worked in it, if there is a law that would require them to be enrolled by a college to regulate the activity .

same thing happens in Argentina. But recently a draft compulsory registration already has half sansión in Santa Fe, resurrected an old controversy in this regard.

The project is of the Provincial Association of Computer Professionals (APPEI) that would add to the Law 13016 of the province of Buenos Aires, Cordoba 7642 and 3752 Mission. All point to regulate the activity requiring the computer to have a degree to allow the registration exercise.

If - as indicated by official data CESSI - there are 90,000 people working in the area, coming to 300000 if we add technical, telecommunications and call centers, this decision would affect not only these people but a market currently has its difficulties.

The controversy is always latent, projects often come and deal with a given market environment.

The words "prohibited by law" sound very harsh in the mouth of those who talk about it. May point to a regulatory framework by introducing some standars for the exercise of the profession would be a kick valid. We also think that the number of graduates is less formal racing (or will in the near future) to meet demand, which clearly makes us realize that the market should be formalized to enrich themselves and not exclude those who today are the majority.

How To Name A Floral Arrangement

Interesting article Interesting article on salaries

Interesting article because we have shared information on the issue of wages, lack of parameters for y.. as I wrote in the group Human Capital Technology of Linked In

If we were given a weight for each time we read that the IT industry growth "is not accompanied by a increase in the number of professionals required. " from 2005 to this part, some, be rich!
Now, if we were given a weight for every action that we read to shovel the lack ... from all areas, we would be .. poor?

speak of "key positions Wages are homeless and there is excess supply of classic profiles "

Beyond that, is some info the article on IT.

  • companies technological development, infrastructure and services are in greatest demand profiles engineers and technicians. And, precisely, the most suffer from a lack of candidates with skills .
  • regard, Fernando Racca, president of the Chamber of Software and Computer Services of Argentina (CESSI), remarked that this good moment that the industry is not accompanied by an increase in the number of professionals required.
  • And his assertion finds support in the least interested in building their weapons in this industry .
  • Paradoxically, this sector, which pays very good wages -including many positions are paid in dollars or euros to provide services abroad, evidence of a decline in the amount graduates of the houses of study: an estimated 3,275 (2009) will drop to 2,783 by 2011.
  • 70% of companies employ staff who are considered "critical." This is systems analysts, computer engineers and technical infrastructure, among others.
  • "We see kids who are between 20 and 25 years are charging higher salaries to $ 10,000 because they are trained in new technologies and, having few profiles of the handle, companies are able to pay anything as long as of them and move on with their projects. "
  • In turn, he told Chavez Giachino, companies offer "any remuneration" professionals between 45 and 60 years while systems are specialists in "old" (as AS 400 - Cobol - RPG) are still widely used in both domestic and multinational firms. They are very difficult to find. And just as there are few on the market, listed on the rise.

Job Search

Here is the link to an article by Paul Berman - Director of Maple Leaf Human Resources Management - On an interesting topic ... "Making the interest of the interviewer in the interview."

" The teachings of Leonardo Da Vinci job search" is the title and can be read here

Here, his final advice
I repeat something that is implicit: try to find out what the company might be interested in sado you, your needs and requirements. Do not do as many candidates with excellent experience who are more concerned about expressing what they need or, worse, expressing what they can bring to the Company to be hired ... without knowing the eyes of the interviewer what they really seek to incorporate.

Paintball Marker Blueprint

Analysis on the supply situation of academics

know that ....

Looking at the past 13 years of new students enrolled in graduate and undergraduate courses related to computer science, we see that they have maintained an average of 22,546 entrants. The average annual rate of growth in enrollment is only 0.1% with two very strong fall in 2003 and 2006.

The student population at these races is an average of 80,144 students (new re enrolled more registrants from previous years). This population has also remained stable with an annual growth rate of 1.2%. That is, in general, the system plays its strengths and weaknesses year after year: 22.5 on average thousands of students admitted per year and an average of 18.6 thousand students drop out annually.

Given that on average the total number of admitted students receive a 15% and using the revenues after 2002, we estimate the number of professionals must be received at the years under the assumption of constancy of current conditions. Thus, an average of 7 years, we project the number of graduates until 2014

The structure of the plan of software companies realize a significant mass of professionals with university degrees (38%), a large proportion of them to careers in IT. A similar amount is made up of university students (31%) and 7% are non-university technical.

All realities that we have put into consideration in this blog, but in this case, support data and statistics.

Excellent business proposal that promote academic careers and are either formalize technical education necessary to train qualified human resources and not only suited to the task.

Retention plans in specific higher educational levels and generation of "necessity" of skilled personnel are some of the strategies that have been generated.
