"The Devotion of Divine Mercy of Saint Faustina is something to avoid?

For years we heard different opinions regarding the Devotion of Divine Mercy, we did not know exactly what to say about it. The fact is that in the 1950's, the Devotion of Divine Mercy was removed and the diary of Sister Faustina was placed on the Index of Forbidden Books. It was only restored around the world for John Paul II after Vatican II. Besides that, something that concerned us was that it seemed to be very popular among the "Catholic" charismatic and seemed to be used as a substitute for Rosario. Some time ago we decided to quickly browse the book over 600 pages: Diary of Divine Mercy in My Soul Sister Faustina Kowalska. Here are some strange things that were found by the investigation are sufficient to convince us that this "devotion" is something to be avoided
On page 23 of the book The Divine Mercy in My Soul (The Diary of Sister Faustina), says: "... And the host went out of the tent and sat on my hands and I [with] joy I placed in the tabernacle. That was repeated again and I did with her as well, but was repeated a third time ... "1.
On page 89 of the book The Divine Mercy in my soul, says: "When the priest came again, I gave the host to put it in the cup, because the first time having received Jesus, I could not say that the other had dropped only after you've passed. When was the Host in his hands, I felt so strong love for the whole day I could not eat anything, not regaining consciousness. Of the host heard these words: I wanted to rest in your hands, not only in your heart "2.

On page 417, we read that supposedly "Jesus" gives these instructions to Sister Faustina: "Tell the Superior General to count you as the faithful daughter of the order." 12

On page 208 we learn that "Jesus" supposedly told about the new Sister Faustina of Divine Devotion Mercy and allegedly instructed that should be made in the accounts of the Rosary: \u200b\u200b"This sentence [the Devotion of Divine Mercy] is to appease my anger, you will pray for nine days with a common rosary, as follows: first one will pray After the Our Father and Hail Mary and the Creed, then in the accounts for the Our Father, say the following words: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and the world, in the accounts of Ave Maria, say the following words: For your sorrowful Passion, have mercy us and the world. Finally, say these words three times: Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us and the world "17 (Saturday September 14, 1935).
These statements present a series of problems. The first problem is the promotion of Communion in the hand, which is allegedly backed by our Lord. The Host flies in his hands several times, supposedly says Our Lord that He wanted to rest in her hands. We believe this is a diabolical trap for acceptance in advance intellectually Communion in the hand by the religion of Vatican II.
Secondly, we see unnecessary praise on this sister. We see things supposedly said by Our Lord does not encourage humility, but basically vanity that she is the greatest thing in the world. We do not believe that Our Lord will never force him to tell his superior that is the most faithful daughter of the order. Our Lord could have told the Superior such a thing, if He wanted to make known.
Thirdly, we see that it tells Sister Faustina the spark of God - to prepare the world for His Second Coming - will come from Poland! This has been interpreted as meaning that the person chosen by God was Juan Pablo II, que era de Polonia! Devotion of Divine Mercy is a clever forgery, for it is traditional in many ways, serves the purpose of the devil to get this false devotion is inserted in conservative-minded groups, to as the devil would use it as a substitute for Rosario.
All things considered, the Divine Mercy Devotion is something to be avoided by Catholics. Catholics should better say an extra rosary or the Via Crucis.
